The benefits of cardio training are many, it makes you feel good, helps you sleep better, reduces the risk of heart attack, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.

To get the most out of your training, you must track and analyze your workouts. The good news is that cardio training can benefit tremendously by some of the tools available today. Heart Rate Monitor Watches stand out as one of the most amazing technologies that can help you maximize your results. Some of the heart rate monitors available today can track more than just your heart rate. They can also track speed, distance, altitude and more. The Diet and Exercise Tracker application was designed with this in mind and it takes full advantage of these technologies.

  • Standard View: The Standard View is designed to help you easily see summary information for a cardio exercise that you have performed.
  • Graphical View: The Graphical View allows you to view and examine the data imported from any of the Supported Devices in a graphical way.
  • Map View: The map view allows you to view the path traveled during the exercise on a map. This view can be customized to show the path being drawn on top of a standard road map, satellite images or hybrid mode.
  • Raw Data View: The Raw Data View of the cardio exercise shows a list of the raw data imported from one of the Supported Devices.

  • Choose cardio exercises from a list of available exercises or easily create your own custom exercises.

Cardio Training Log:

  • Track multiple exercises per day.
  • Record your cardio exercise by entering only basic information such as exercise type and duration, or keep detail information for the exercise by including calories burned, heart rate zone information and more. You can even record interval details. For example, if you are running a 5-mile run, you can enter an intervals for each of the miles ran, each interval containing its respective duration, distance, speed, heart rate, etc.
  • Enter your exercise manually or import it from one of the supported devices such as a Polar watch.
  • View the exercise data using a Standard View, a Graphical View, a Map View and a Raw Data View (see pictures above). The combination of these four views can really help you visualize what went on during your workout. Remember that when it comes to doing cardio, heart rate is key, too high and you can risk injury, too low, and you are wasting your time.

Reports:

  • Analyze your training progress by generating multiple types of reports.
  • Pick from predefined report date ranges or create your own custom range.
